The Guardian 100 Amp, 120/240v transfer switch monitors utility power and signals the generator to start when utility power is interrupted. When utility power returns, the transfer switch returns the electrical load from the generator back to the utility. This ensures your most important electrical loads are powered, within seconds, even when you're away.

The transfer switch will help you receive continuous power from your standby generator during a storm.

This transfer switch is the difference between a truly automatic generator set and just another generator. When used in conjunction with one of the Generac home standby generators, the transfer switch receives its signal from the generator control circuit to provide safe and dependable transfer from utility to standby power without any intervention by the owner. No toggles to flip, no knobs to turn, no extension cords to run when you lose utility power. The switch features two-pole 250 VAC contactors, operates at 60 millisecond transfer time when contactor is energized, has a dual coil design and main contacts that are silver plated or made of silver alloy to resist welding and sticking. For greater peace of mind, this transfer switch features weekly 15-minute automatic tests. (This test allows you to verify that your system is in peak operating condition at all times.) The switch is housed in a NEMA 3R Outdoor Rated enclosure, measures 20-by-15-by-7 inches and weighs 35 pounds.
